AIMES have recently undertaken a major new investment in A-Cloud infrastructure to provide increased capacity and resiliency.

The investment programme has extended the company’s cloud infrastructure and has been designed with a new hyper converged infrastructure solution which provides for advanced customer requirements and improved resilience. Our Senior Technical Architect, Heather Glover, has stated:

This transition is more than simply an upgrade. This is supported with new network, firewalls, improved performance and capacity.

The investment of over £0.25m has increased capacity for compute power, network throughput and storage volumes.

A-Cloud is an internet-facing service for which AIMES continue to provide competitive pricing – particularly in comparison to US-cloud providers. This solution provides clients with flexibility and low costs together with enhanced security and support.
